Do our guests need an app or an account?

Accepted Answer

No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and the album opens in the browser. They can add photos and videos straight away, without installing anything or signing up.

Which plan is right for a party?

Accepted Answer

Mini suits most birthdays and house parties: 2 GB and a 7-day album. Choose Standard for a big party: 10 GB and a 30-day album. Both have every feature: unlimited guests, face search, the guestbook, the live slideshow, disposable camera mode, Google Drive export and Drawbabble (beta).

Can the photos stay hidden until the end of the party?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Turn on disposable camera mode: guests take photos all night, but only see them at the reveal time you choose, like the next morning.

Can we show the photos on the TV?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every plan includes a live slideshow: open it on a laptop connected to the TV, and new photos join it as they are added. With photo approval on, a photo reaches the screen only after you or a co-host approve it.

Who can see the photos?

Accepted Answer

Only people with your QR code or link. You can approve photos and messages before they appear, delete any of them, remove a guest and stop new guests from joining once the party is over.

How do guests find the photos they’re in?

Accepted Answer

A guest takes a selfie and sees every photo they appear in. The selfie is used for that search and then discarded, unless the guest chooses to save it. You can turn face search off for your album in the settings.

Can I give Picsylo as a birthday present?

Yes. Buy an album as a gift with a personal message. The birthday person gets a code by email and creates their album whenever they like.

What is Drawbabble?

A party drawing game for the big screen, included in every album (beta). Up to 20 guests play on their own phones with no app, everyone else watches and votes, and a game lasts about 12 minutes with 10 players. You need at least 4 players, plus the host who runs the game and a laptop connected to the screen. The 10-minute demo doesn’t include it, and to play, the album’s owner first agrees that we collect game stats to improve it.
