Do our guests need an app or an account?

Accepted Answer

No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and the album opens in the browser. They can add photos and videos straight away, without installing anything or signing up.

What about older guests, or guests who don’t use their phone?

Accepted Answer

If they can point a phone camera at the card, they can join: there is nothing to install or remember. Guests who don’t want to use their phone still see everyone’s photos on the live slideshow at the reception.

Which plan is right for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Most weddings choose Standard: 10 GB and a 30-day album. Mini suits small, intimate weddings: 2 GB and a 7-day album. Both plans have every feature: unlimited guests, face search, the guestbook, the live slideshow, Google Drive export, co-hosts and Drawbabble (beta), and you can add storage later.

How long do the photos stay online?

A Standard album stays open for 30 days from the wedding, and a Mini album for 7 (or 30 with an add-on). After it closes you still have 3 days to download everything. You can keep a Standard album open for six months or a full year after the wedding (the year is $14.99 if you add it when you buy the album), or export it to Google Drive at any time.

Who can see our album?

Accepted Answer

Only people with your QR code or link. You can approve photos and messages before they appear, delete any of them, and stop new guests from joining once the wedding is over.

Will the photos keep their full quality?

Accepted Answer

Yes. By default, photos and videos are stored exactly as they were taken, with no compression, and location data is removed from both before they upload. If you prefer, switch the album to Save space: full resolution at 90%+ quality.

Question 7

How does face search work?

Accepted Answer

A guest takes a selfie and sees every photo they appear in. The selfie is used for that search and then discarded, unless the guest chooses to save it. You can turn face search off for your album in the settings.

What is Drawbabble?

A party drawing game for the big screen, included in every album (beta). Up to 20 guests play on their own phones with no app, everyone else watches and votes, and a game lasts about 12 minutes with 10 players. You need at least 4 players, plus the host who runs the game and a laptop connected to the screen. The 10-minute demo doesn’t include it, and to play, the album’s owner first agrees that we collect game stats to improve it.
