Price
Picsylo has two one-time plans. Mini is $9.99: 2 GB, a 7-day album, unlimited guests and AI face search, made for small dinners and parties. Standard is $19.99: 10 GB, a 30-day album, the live slideshow, Google Drive export, disposable camera mode and co-hosts. Extra storage is $1 per 10 GB if you need it.
GuestCam charges once per event, with no subscription. Standard is $49: unlimited guests, photos and videos, a six-month upload window, 12 months of storage, one main gallery with unlimited sub-galleries and an audio guestbook on the web and in its PhoneBooth. Premium is $97: a twelve-month upload window, 14 months of storage, six main galleries with their own QR codes, 30 colour themes, a dial-in phone number for the audio guestbook and advanced co-host controls. Both include the live slideshow, reactions and comments, 17 guest languages, Canva templates for signs and original-quality ZIP downloads. Face search (MagicFind) is a $45 add-on and a dedicated guestbook phone number $30. GuestCam’s windows start on the event date, not the purchase date.
When GuestCam is the better choice
- You want the photos online for a year or more without doing anything. GuestCam stores them 12 months on Standard and 14 on Premium.
- You want a phone audio guestbook. Guests leave messages on the web or in GuestCam’s PhoneBooth, and Premium adds a dial-in number.
- You expect a lot of video. GuestCam has no upload limit; with Picsylo you may need extra storage.
- The event spans several days or places. Premium has six main galleries, each with its own QR code.
- Guests speak many languages. GuestCam’s guest pages come in 17 languages; Picsylo’s in 7.
When Picsylo is the better choice
- You want face search without paying extra. It is in both Picsylo plans; at GuestCam it adds $45 to a $49 or $97 plan.
- You want to pay less. $19.99 for the full Standard plan, or $9.99 for a small event.
- You want the photos in Google Drive. Standard exports the whole album to your Drive in one click, in original quality.
- You like the disposable camera idea. Standard can hide photos until a reveal time you choose.
- You want to approve photos before everyone sees them. Picsylo can hold uploads until you approve them, or you can delete any photo.
How guests add photos
It works the same way on both: guests scan the QR code on a table card or sign, the album opens in Safari or Chrome, and they upload photos and videos straight from the phone. Neither needs an app or an account. On Picsylo, photos and videos are kept in original quality, and location data is removed from photos before they upload.
Keeping the photos after the event
With GuestCam you download everything as one original-quality ZIP while the event is stored, for 12 or 14 months. With Picsylo you download everything as one ZIP or export it to Google Drive. After the album closes you still have 3 days to download, and a Standard album can be extended by six months or a year if you want it online longer.
